I reread this book, probably for the 50th time.
During elementary school I read this book so many time I've lost count.
It's well used, the pages are falling out and there are several pages bent in the upper corner
The book tells a story of a girl who died because she had the courage to tell two gunmen that she believed in God.
I love the story.
It was written by her mother, months after her death.
She tells about her daughter, Cassie, and all the changes and phases she went through in life.
"she answered the question "Do You Believe In God?" ... and she said yes."
