108. April 18, 2010

Well this weekend was great!
I got kidnapped for a suprise laurels retreat, it was so fun!!
I'll put some pictures on when I get a copy of them!
Then I came home, (this part really doesn't excite me though) and my family informed me that
a bird and flown to our house, and climbed in my bird cage...
Weird right?
Now for the weirder part... it's not like a robin or anything,
It's a cockatiel!

"Random events? Yes it's called life!" ~Also heard in my school hallways

I got my first new penny today!
It made me happier then it should have...

"You never know who held that coin before you, so you'll want to do two things: wash it (because it probably could have been in a dirty place) and two write down the number on it so you can see if you ever get it back!' !I don't actually know who said this....

106. April 16, 2010

itsn't so cool, this is what it does to my non injured leg...
Awesome right?
Sorry I couldn't find a good quote for this today...

105. April 15, 2010

Oh I love this building, with all my heart!

"The temple is a place to escape, to be comforted and to find hope." ~My seminary teacher...

104. April 14, 2010

For photo class I have to take pictures of animals... here's some of them...
Hope you enjoy!

My Uncle/Cousins cute puppy!
The cat that hates me

An old, sad, lonely dog...
I love this dog and am very sad at how old he's getting

"You may have noticed, but the dog is more a part of my family then I am!!" A quote heard at my high school...
To whoever said it, I'm sorry about that. I'll be your friend though!

103. April 13, 2010

Today I had a soccer game, becuase of my injury I was only allowed to play about 10 minutes... :(
And even after that it was killing me, but I'll take what I can get and be a happy camper :)

102. April 12, 2010

Hm Sorry this picture stinks,
it's off my  phone... which I just learned can take good pictures, I just had it on a bad setting...
Anyways this is 'my dad's cake' but also my favorite kind.
It looks nasty but it is so good!

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things.

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings.
these are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
silver white winters that melt into springs,
these are a few of my favorite things.

When the dog bites, when the bee stings,
when I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
and then I don't feel so bad. " ~My Favorite Things by Julie Andrews

101. April 11, 2010

Sometimes the doctors think I tear my meniscus... and sometimes they are wrong.
Really my knees were just jealous...
They found out my shoulders, my spine, my sternum, and pretty much every other part of me is crooked,
and it felt left out.
So now I have to go to phyiscal therapy 3 times a week,
and wear this super cool knee barce when ever I do physical activity! (That was sarcasm)
Awesome right?
You are jealous and I know it!

You can't step in the same river twice
The water's always changing, always flowing
But people, I guess, can't live like that
We all must pay a price
To be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing
What's around the riverbend
Waiting just around the riverbend...
Should I choose the smoothest curve
Steady as the beating drum?
Should I marry Kocoum?
Is all my dreaming at an end?
Or do you still wait for me, Dream Giver
Just around the riverbend?" ~Pocahontas

99. April 9, 2010

Yes I know these are really bad pictures, but they are off my phone, taking a picture of a computer so sorry...

Sometiems when we don't have anything to do in class me and my best friend, Kiley Durrant, take photo booth pictures...
Here's two examples:
This one is my favorie...

"Yes we know we are freaks, yes we know you are afraid of us, but ask us this, "do you care?" if you ask us you'd learn that the answer is NO!"

98. April 8, 2010

*These pictures are not mine! I borrowed them from her blog! Sorry Abbie I can take them off if you'd like!!*

I had the chnace to spend the afternoon with an amazing family!! The scott family amazes me everyday!!
Meet my old young womens leader new baby Lauren Julia Scott! again

She is beautiful!
She will grow up to be a beautiful little girl, because she is already as cute as they come!
She has an older brother, who is as cute as can be!!
And she has an AMAZING mom!!!

“Most of you are mothers, and very many of you are grandmothers and even great-grandmothers. You have walked the sometimes painful, sometimes joyous path of parenthood. You have walked hand in hand with God in the great process of bringing children into the world that they might experience this estate along the road of immortality and eternal life. It has not been easy rearing a family. Most of you have had to sacrifice and skimp and labor night and day. As I think of you and your circumstances, I think of the words of Anne Campbell, who wrote as she looked upon her children:

You are the trip I did not take;
You are the pearls I cannot buy;
You are my blue Italian lake;
You are my piece of foreign sky.

You [mothers] are the real builders of the nation wherever you live, for you have created homes of strength and peace and security. These become the very sinew of any nation.” Gordon B. Hinckley, “Women of the Church,” Ensign, Nov 1996, 67

97. April 7, 2010

Some times the doctor thinks that I may have torn my meniscus
(though you will later find out that fact is fiction... oops spoiler sorry haha)
So i sit at practice and take pictures :)

This is our keeper Nicole, I love her... a lot
Here's how she gives us support...
"I hate you! Are you high? Hit me in the face and i'll make you run!!"
See she's so positive

This is my team.... I love them
Sometimes my team stands in a circle and talks for a while, it's good for them
This is what happens when you try to be a good samaritan... the trees attack you.

Sometimes when I'm bored i just put my hands in my hair and wait to see what happens...
I did this today, and this happened...

"Every dreamer knows that it is entirely possible to be homesick for a place you've never been to, perhaps more homesick than for familiar ground." ~ Judith Thurman

95. April 5, 2010

It's spring break!!! Yay!!
Me and my friend Kiley Durrant are pretty obsessed with seeing movies.
Especially funny love stories actually all cheesy movies pretty much...

"Sometimes you have to be a part from people you love, but that doesn't make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more."
"Truth only means something when it's hard to admit."
"you have to love something before you can hate it."
"*Mom says it's because she has PMS.  -Do you even know what that means?  *I'm not a little kid anymore. It means pissed-at- men syndrome"
"Life, he realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile."

92. April 2, 2010

I went to the library today and checked out 5 Jodi Picoult books...
Her books are all depressing, but for some reason I love them.
This one was no exception.
I wish the language was better it's true, because it is rather foul...
but i still really like it.

"How could he convey to someone who'd never even met her the way she always smelled like rain, or how his stomach knotted up every time he saw her shake loose her hair from its braid? How could he describe how it felt when she finished his sentences, turned the mug they were sharing so that her mouth landed where his had been? How did he explain the way they could be in a locker room, or underwater, or in the piney woods of Maine, bus as long as Em was with him, he was at home?" ~The Pact

91. April 1, 2010

Sometimes I drive by the temple, just to get that feeling...
You know the one i'm talking about...
and sometimes i park in the parking lot, after a long soccer practice i wasn't allowed to practice in,
and watch people go by in their sunday clothes...
and sometimes, when i do this I cry, for no reason at all...
then continue my day.

"You are never lost when you can see the temple. " ~Elder Gary E. Stevenson
