114. April 24, 2010

Um if you thought the last blog entry thingy was bad for having too many pictures,
skip this one...
Sorry but I like them...

As you can tell, we are a lot of help...
As I said, this is my papa.
And to tell you the truth, I could have taken pictures of him ALL day long...

My sister is a freak some days :)

Yep He's pretty cute :)
Sometimes my mom gets on the roof (which is against the rules)
to take pictures, then 'boss' finds out
And then this happens....

Papa's cows (day two)

The necessities of the Jackson family boys

We all liked this calf's face...

The brands...

Sometimes Izzie snuggles me and I like it a lot!

Also sometimes she is really cute :)
Well always actually

It looks rather painful, not gonna lie.

This is the 'hide in the truck and don't let Shelbie take pictures of us' game....
I won :)

She was quiet content with her sucker.

As I said, i love taking pictures of him.
Love it a lot :)
I wish my granny would let me take pictures of her...
she wouldn't.
But I love her too, very much :)
Someday I will get a picture and show you the wonderful person I have the honor of calling my grandma :D
I like when he smiles like this,
I like the smell of my papa, it's wonderful.
And anytime I smell it, I think of him

Yup this is my uncle... he's a weirdy :)

I know you are all jealous of how cute she is, don't worry....
everyone is ;)

I also really like it when he looks serious,
he reminds me of a cowboy from and old western movie...

One of my favorite things about him, are his hands.
I love they are rough with hard work yet soft with a grandpa's love.

I really like these two pictures, he doesn't, but I do :)
I also really love his flannel shirts that he wears no matter how hot it is.

This is one of my favorite from the weekend, why I couldn't tell you.
It just is :)

I also really love when Daeci plays with Iz and she does this :)

Peek a boo!

She was hungry?

These hands have done a lot a work,
given a lot of comfort and
touched the lives of many.

He was being a gentleman and giving hailey his sucker

Sometimes they stick all the children on this truck and make me hold a child,
it was pretty scary...

These two are so so so cute!

Oh lynlee...

Going for a little ride :)

Sham and Tiff's softball game

(I think this is tiff, but I can't decide if it's her or her friend
sorry if it's not you tiff)
This is my cousin's son,
He's a cutie!
I can't make this one turn the right way, so just tilt your head :)
I really like his tan line haha
"Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts. "

This song always reminds me of both papa and grandpa bologna

"I remember Daddy´s hands, folded silently in prayer.
And reaching out to hold me, when I had a nightmare.
You could read quite a story, in the callouses and lines.
Years of work and worry had left their mark behind.
I remember Daddy´s hands, how they held my Mama tight,
And patted my back, for something done right.
There are things that I´ve forgotten, that I loved about the man,
But I´ll always remember the love in Daddy´s hands.

Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin´.
Daddy´s hands, were hard as steel when I´d done wrong.
Daddy´s hands, weren´t always gentle
But I´ve come to understand.
There was always love in Daddy´s hands.
I remember Daddy´s hands, working 'til they bled.
Sacrificed unselfishly, just to keep us all fed.
If I could do things over, I´d live my life again.
And never take for granted the love in Daddy´s hands.

Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin´.
Daddy´s hands, were hard as steel when I´d done wrong.
Daddy´s hands, weren´t always gentle
But I´ve come to understand.
There was always love in Daddy´s hands."  Holly Dunn, Daddy's Hands

Also this one does too... Not so sure why this one does, but it does

"My dad chased monsters from the dark,
He checked underneath my bed.
An' he could lift me with one arm,
Way up over top his head.
He could loosen rusty bolts,
With a quick turn of his wrench.
He pulled splinters from his hand,
And never even flinched.
In thirteen years i'd never seen him cry,
But the day that grandpa died, I realized:

Unsinkable ships sink.
Unbreakable walls break.
Sometimes the things you think would never happen,
Happens just like that.
Unbendable steel bends.
If the fury of the wind is unstoppable,
I've learned to never underestimate,
The impossible.

An' then there was my junior year,
Billy had a brand new car.
It was late, the road was wet,
I guess the curve was just too sharp.
I walked away without a scratch.
They brought the helicopter in.
Billy couldn't feel his legs.
They said he'd never walk again.
But Billy said he would an' his mom and daddy prayed,
An' the day we graduated, he stood up to say:
Unsinkable ships sink.
Unbreakable walls break.
Sometimes the things you think would never happen,
Happens just like that.
Unbendable steel bends.
If the fury of the wind is unstoppable,
I've learned to never underestimate,
The impossible

So don't tell me that it's over.
Don't give up on you and me.
'Cuz there's no such thing as hopeless,
If you believe:

Unsinkable ships sink.
Unbreakable walls break.
Sometimes the things you think would never happen,
happens just like that.
Unbendable steel bends.
If the fury of the wind is unstoppable,
I've learned to never underestimate,
The impossible"
